Meet Joe Laleune
I’ve been on both sides of the game — as a player and as a coach.
I’ve coached lacrosse players at every level, from youth development and high school to varsity, provincial, national, and professional competition. I know what it takes to build athletes who move well, stay durable, and perform when it matters.
I grew up playing in Halifax before competing across Canada and Australia. At Bishop’s University, I won a national championship and earned All-Canadian honours. I later played professionally in Australia, where I was named Offensive Player of the Year, and competed in both field and box lacrosse at the provincial level, including a Founders Cup championship.
For more than a decade, I’ve specialized in strength and conditioning, working with athletes preparing for college seasons, Nationals, Worlds, professional tryouts, and the next level of their game. I’ve coached across Canada and internationally, including elite summer programs and private training focused on speed, strength, movement, and performance.
My approach combines high-performance strength and conditioning with principles of movement quality, recovery, and resilience to build complete lacrosse athletes — strong, fast, and durable.
Built for Lacrosse is the same system I use with high-level athletes. Now it’s yours.
Train on your schedule, at your pace, with a program built specifically for the demands of lacrosse.
